My Background and Approach
I specialize in grief/bereavement, anxiety disorders, and interpersonal relationships. I am passionate about creating a safe, supportive environment for clients where they can explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment. I employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused techniques, and narrative therapy, tailoring my approach to meet each client's individual needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people have unique strengths to grow during different times in their lives. Everyone can find the outcomes they want and sometimes needs a supportive hand to help them get there. We all can have the opportunities to grow and change; all we need is a chance and the courage to try. Growing up, my family went through a terrible divorce, and I had to learn to overcome anxiety and family issues. Through my therapy journey, I realized that we all go through different transitions in life that are sometimes harder to go through, and therapy can be beneficial during that time. I am a die-hard Baylor Bear fan and love everything about living in Waco, Texas. I want to create the same welcoming environment I receive in my everyday interactions. I don't judge others in their hard time. I make a point to support and enforce a judge-free environment in my life and sessions.
