About My Clients
I love working with queer/trans and bipoc couples who are committed to intergenerational healing within the context of their relationship. I work with couples where one or more partners has an insecure attachment style and/or relational trauma. I love nontraditional relationships, polycules, and working with parents.
My Background and Approach
I work from an attachment-based, trauma-informed, somatic approach that acknowledges the ways structural oppressions like race, class, and sexuality have and continue to shape our relationships with each other, ourselves, and the earth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe a lot of the things we describe as mental illnesses are actually the result of intergenerational, complex trauma. I believe that — in order to heal — we need support healing our relationship to ourselves, to others, and to the land. A lot of my work is about healing relational trauma. Relationship is where we learn who we are, our sense of self, and our belief (or lack thereof) in the trustworthiness of people. My lineages and influences include attachment science, Buddhist psychology, polyvagal theory (nervous system education), and Indigenous and Earth-based spiritualities.
