My Background and Approach
I obtained my Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern California in 2008, and have spent the past 14 years providing psychotherapy to adults, teens, and children in community mental health clinics in LA County. I have training in such a wide range of treatment modalities, so I usually start with getting to know my client before choosing a treatment approach in collaboration with them.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Regardless of the modality chosen, I always focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship first. I believe that this is where the magic of psychotherapy lies. I want my clients to know that they are not alone and to truly feel felt when they're talking with me.
