About My Clients
Are there parts of your story that you keep to yourself for fear of being a burden? You deserve the space to be seen, heard, and supported without stigma. I help teens and young adults struggling to find their place in the world or to make sense of what they've been through. This includes depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, suicidality, self-harm, adoption, abuse, neglect, life transitions, and identity.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master of Social Work from Boston University with a Certification in Trauma and Violence. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Criminal Justice in New York. I have worked in various levels of care in non profits, child welfare, adolescent residential care, crisis intervention, and pediatric integrated care with a wide range of complex mental health conditions. I specialize in complex trauma and enjoy helping with mood disorders, grief, and empowerment. I use an anti-oppression, person-centered and reflective approach. In our therapeutic relationship, you can count on me to see you as more than a diagnosis; I aim to honor and uncover the complexities and strengths of each human being. I am direct, compassionate, and enjoy fostering a genuine connection to help you in your healing and growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value self expression, adventure, equity, humor, and growth. I moved to Colorado from New England in 2020. I enjoy the outdoors camping, hiking, mountain biking, and kayaking. Play and self-expression are important aspects of health in everyday life. I'm passionate about equity and social justice and believe in accessible and normalized mental health care for all people. I am queer-affirming and strive to remain intersectional in my professional work.
