About My Clients
I enjoy working with clients who want to step into their agency. I am there to support, validate, and challenge clients to engage in behaviors and ways of thinking that help create the life they want to live. In community, we can find healing and strength.
My Background and Approach
I draw from my training and work as a therapist as well as my own lived experience with mental illness and addiction in my work with clients. My first goal is to help clients feel seen and heard. Beyond that, I work with clients to find what interventions work best for them. I utilize both cognitive and behavioral frameworks, as well as focus on processing experiences through identifying and working with the parts of us who need to be heard.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that our identities as both therapist and client impact the way we show up in the therapy room. I aim to continually work on my biases that may be brought with me as I work with my clients. As a Queer therapist living with a chronic illness, I also want to hold space for those who share identities that I also have. We are always learning and growing!
