I support members of LGBTQIA+ communities in navigating a variety of concerns. I have experience supporting individuals in exploring their gender, sexual/affectional, and relationship identities. I hope to support members of these communities in empowering themselves to create safe, supportive spaces and overcome experiences of oppression. I'm also trained to support gender expansive folx in accessing gender affirming medical care and writing letters of support.

I enjoy supporting individuals looking to process and heal from trauma. I work with individuals to establish coping skills and identify social supports to facilitate the healing process. I utilize resourcing and grounding strategies to help clients talk about their experiences without overwhelming their system. When appropriate, I integrate parts work and Brainspotting. I have completed Brainspotting Phase 1 and Phase 2 trainings.

I have experience working with pre-teens and adolescents on a range of issues, including self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and relationships. Additionally, I have experience working with adolescents involved in family court. I work with my adolescent clients to enhance their autonomy and confidence to develop healthy living skills, positive communication skills, and healthy relationship dynamics.

My approach is heavily influenced by attachment theory. I work with my clients to create a secure base in session from which my clients can explore their feelings and experiences. I help clients to understand how their attachment style and experiences with significant relationships influence their current relationship dynamics and behaviors.

I believe that all individuals hold the tools necessary to solve their problems and achieve their goals. I work with clients to identify their strengths and enhance their strengths to achieve their goals. I collaborate with my clients to tailor our sessions to their needs and preferences. I encourage my clients to employ their autonomy in our sessions.

There are factors within our control and factors outside our control. As your therapist, I will work with you to accept the factors outside your control and commit to changing the factors within your control. We will work to enhance acceptance to minimize distress over the things we cannot change.

I support individuals in strengthening their intimate relationships, including folx in monogamous relationships, ENM partnerships, and kink dynamics. I aim to provide a comfortable space to help folx improve communication, intimacy, and trust. I utilize elements of attachment theory, parts work, and Brainspotting to support clients looking to strengthen their relationships.

I aim to help clients develop deeper insight and self-awareness by identifying patterns in our behaviors and relationships. By identifying these patterns, I can support clients in becoming more intentional and aware in developing new patterns. I also utilize the therapeutic relationship to help clients explore their emotions and relationship patterns.

Brainspotting is a mind-body approach to help release trauma from the body and to help restore your nervous system. Through fixed eye positions, I support clients in accessing their subcortical brain to release trauma capsules. I have completed Brainspotting Phase 1 and Phase 2 trainings.
