About My Clients
My ideal client is open to growth, wants to increase self-compassion and learn to use the power of neuroplasticity (our brain's ability to change over time) to meet their personal goals and improve their mental wellness. I have worked with individuals in a variety of roles that have focused on healing from family separations and other traumatic events, navigating crisis situations, and improving internal processes. I use trauma-informed, progressive, and identity-affirming therapeutic methods.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with folks with a range of life experiences, mental health diagnoses, and behavioral concerns. I use trauma-informed, progressive, identity-affirming, and self-compassionate interventions to treat depression, anxiety, grief, family dynamics, neurodivergence, LGBTQIA+ and gender-related matters, and more.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone deserves respect, rest, and a safe place to explore their personal goals. I am committed to being affirming and inclusive of each person's intersectional identity (i.e.- race, gender, sexual orientation, cultural background, personal experiences). I enjoy helping my client's learn to understand themselves and their experiences better for the sake of living a more satisfying life and moving forward toward a more self-compassionate future.
