Are you feeling stuck, in a rut or down? Getting stuck is normal and I can help. I enjoy my work very much and look forward to collaborating with individuals who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties.
My Background and Approach
I am an active proponent of the mind-body connection and use this often in my therapy. My practice orientation is eclectic and focused on compassionate self-management. I utilize elements of Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Person Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment theory, and Gestalt Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that people possess self-correcting impulses but, can only access them given the right circumstances. I will offer a safe & nurturing space to reconnect with these instincts. My goal in therapy is to help you gain insight and self mastery and self-compassion so you may learn to overcome difficult or overwhelming feelings. As we work together I will support and guide you toward confidence and independence.
