About My Clients
I love working with clients who are struggling with sex, intimacy, and anxiety specific to relationships, as well as couples wanting to heal their relationship. I take an active and collaborative approach to therapy and many of my clients are looking for someone who really "gets it" and will help them tackle the root of their issue. My clients tend to be big thinkers, who are seeking closeness and connection, and want to break out of old patterns that are no longer working for them.
My Background and Approach
I love all things "relationship", which is what called me to become a therapist. I graduated from Smith School of Social Work in 2017, and have been dedicated to studying relationships ever since. I have extensive experience and specialized training in evidence-based approaches for sex therapy and couples therapy. I employ a wide rang of approaches to working with intimacy and relationship concerns. I welcome and affirm the diverse identities and experiences that you may bring into therapy, including those related to gender, sexuality, varying relationship configurations, etc.. I work to create an inclusive space where you can explore and embrace your identity, as it intersects with your relationships and overall well-being. As a certified rape crisis counselor, I also bring a trauma-informed approach to my practice. I am currently pursuing continued training in The Gottman Method, and am licensed to work with clients in MA & CA.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We are wired to connect with others, yet emotional and physical intimacy can be so tough at times. Often couples are impacted by differences in desire, emotional expressiveness, upbringing, communication, broken trust, or past traumas. It makes sense why relationships can be so hard to do on our own, but we are all capable of loving, safe, and healthy intimacy. I would love to help you break out of the frustrating relationship cycle you may feel stuck in.
