About My Clients
Are you looking for tools to help when you find yourself stuck? Depression, anxiety, panic attacks, etc can sometimes feel crippling. I’m here to help.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who earned a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University, Los Angeles. I became a therapist to help people navigate their complex worlds in order to live healthier, happier lives. I believe in a holistic approach to health; that all components of ones’ life are interrelated and that the counseling process is a journey between the therapist and client where we explore areas of concern together. My experience includes working with couples, families and individuals dealing with various challenges and issues. I specialize in treating adults and adolescents with both mental health and substance use issues. My areas of specialty are anxiety and depression, minority/multicultural challenges, trauma treatment, behavior issues, substance use and LGBTQIA couples and individuals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Some of my previous experience includes substance abuse work with both adults and adolescents. Behavioral therapy work with people with autism and related disorders as well as counseling families and individuals living with HIV.
