My Background and Approach
I work from an attachment and somatic based perspective meaning I look at the relational experiences you've had over your life and how these have translated into survival strategies which your body continues to hold onto today. Together we will untangle these, learn to tune into the wisdom of your body, and begin to learn new ways of living which allow you to thrive instead of simply survive. I will help you to re-gain a sense of safety and security within yourself and in your relationships giving you the ability to be more resilient.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Life is difficult to say the least and often gives us experiences which leave us hurting. I believe we are all doing our very best in any given moment and that change is possible even when it seems impossible. I believe every person matters and every aspect of what makes each person who they are, matters. Having safe, healthy, and supportive relationships in our lives, makes navigating the greatest challenges, more bearable. And I believe dogs to be some of the greatest healers here on Earth.
