About My Clients
My clients often seek therapy for relationship stress, identity exploration (gender, sexuality, consensual non-monogamy), life transitions, and experiences of depression, anxiety, and trauma. As an inclusive, sex-positive therapist, I specialize in working with LGBTQ+ folx, people of color, polyamorous, kinky, and alternative lifestyle individuals.
My Background and Approach
Sometimes we can feel stuck by the stressors in our relationships, careers, personal histories, and more. You do not have to navigate it alone. As a team, we will work together to challenge the obstacles in your path and deepen your relationship with yourself and others. I believe in utilizing narrative, solution-focused, and client-centered theories to help you become the best version of yourself. In relationship therapy, I focus on developing a shared understanding of your negative cycles and introduce alternative perspectives to develop a future where you can live authentically.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I earned my B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy at Chapman University. After several years of engaging in meaningful research related to consensual non-monogamy and sexuality, I decided to pursue providing compassion and connection through clinical work. My counseling and advocacy focus on serving LGBTQ folx, kinky/BDSM relationships, and ethically non-monogamous relationships. I am passionate about sexual empowerment and deconstructing the shame around loving our sexual selves. In therapy, my goal is to provide an inclusive, safe space to explore all aspects of your identity and empower you to live authentically.
