About My Clients
I specialize in working with adults and teens who are trying to navigate anxiety, trauma-based disorders, life transitions, and self-esteem related issues. I also have extensive experience working with LGBTQ+ community. My passion for human rights and social issues—including race, class, gender and sexuality—continually inform my practice. Additionally, I have a special interest in working with people who have religious trauma or come from high-demand organizations.
My Background and Approach
In my work, I utilize Jungian approaches to art therapy while also incorporating a multi-cultural and intersectional social justice lens. With every client, I believe in forming a strong, trusting, and secure therapeutic relationship as a foundation of our work together. Although I maintain professional boundaries, I am very personable and do not tend to be rigid or formal in our sessions. As a therapist, I like to find a balance between being validating and supportive, yet also holding people accountable and encouraging them to grow. In tandem with my anti-racism commitment, I acknowledge the Piscataway people, on whose land I am working.
