About My Clients
I believe that you hold the key to living your truths. Your authenticity may have been repressed by abuse, trauma, anxiety, depression, and perhaps the sense that who you are is not okay. This repression of authenticity can be pervasive; it can stifle play and joy, leaving us to feel that life is nothing but the product it manifests, and ultimately, it can leave us feeling that our truths are less-than.
My Background and Approach
The murkiness that can surround our authenticity is dark and scary; exploration may elicit fear. I will step into that with you, so you do not have to go it alone. And through that exploration, we can discover your truth. Sometimes, messages we receive inhibit natural inclination toward authenticity. Perhaps it was “man up” or “act like a lady.” Perhaps you heard that who or how you love is inappropriate. In therapy, we can explore these messages and tear them apart to work towards wholeness. I identify and am LGBTQIA+ affirming and am Kink/BDSM and poly affirming. I draw on my own experiences of storytelling, somatic experiences and internal representations and imagery within the context of community and connection to create a collaborative therapeutic space. If you are curious about what our work together may look like, please reach out and we can discuss how, together, we can discover authenticity and truth.
