About My Clients

I love working with LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent clients as well as those who have experienced childhood trauma. Having childhood traumatic experiences can often result in anxiety, depression, CPTSD and attachment issues. I strive on creating a safe, open and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable to explore themselves, their identities, their interests and their pasts; to uncover and discover who they are authentically.

My Background and Approach

I take a compassionately curious approach towards therapy and you, while fostering that compassionate curiosity toward yourself. I will inquire and explore alongside you to help you understand yourself on a deeper and more loving way. I use techniques from different modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment theory and parts work, mindfulness and somatic techniques. I am constantly researching and attending trainings on different techniques to best serve my clients and align with my approach to therapy. I will often share articles, books, videos and shows (often anime) that help us connect to the work we are doing in therapy. Our childhood experiences inform the way our brains and nervous system develop over time, for better or worse. The work I do is to help you learn to identify and turn towards these experiences and emotions and release them gently while connecting and creating safety to the present moment.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a social worker at heart, I understand there are oppressive systems in place that actively harm individuals & create trauma & stress. As a white therapist, I work towards decolonizing my practice and views around therapy while also understanding my privilege's and exploring the effects of colonization on the mental health field. I am LGBTQIA+ and neurodivergent identified and affirming and enjoy taking an eclectic approach in therapy. I strive to provide an inclusive and safe space for my clients and community. In my free time, I love spending time with my family/friends, going to metal concerts, drawing anime and researching or doing trainings on mental health stuff. Current waitlist
