About My Clients
I am passionate about providing a safe and affirming space for women, teens, and members of the LGBTQ+ community to address issues like disordered eating, body image challenges (not only the way we see our bodies, but the way we experience them), identity exploration, people pleasing, perfectionism, anxiety, and depression.
My Background and Approach
I practice through a somatic lens, utilizing elements of Embodied Recovery, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as self-compassion and mindfulness practices when working with clients. I hold a deep passion for supporting clients in reconnecting with their bodies and utilizing felt sensations as a key tool in their healing journey. Above all else, I lead with a person-centered approach guided by the belief that you are the expert of your own journey and you are worthy of a non-judgmental, safe, and affirming environment to heal and grow.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Every single one of us is worthy of feeling safe, loved, and secure in our lives and in our relationships. I aspire to a world where every human can be accepted and coveted for exactly who they are, and I see it as the ultimate honor to spread that aspiration through my counseling practice. I practice through a neurodivergent-affirming and Health at Every Size lens.
