About My Clients
I enjoy supporting helpers, teachers, caregivers and healthcare workers, or those who are highly empathic and may harbor the stress of their day to day work. For those of us who dedicate ourselves to caring for others, our own experience of stress or a traumatic event is often de-prioritized and buried within, later impacting the way we feel in our body, the way we function, and the way we engage in relationship. We'll process those lived experiences, lightening the weight of what you carry.
My Background and Approach
I have extensive experience supporting women, young adults and members of the LGBTQ+ community who are navigating complex chronic illness, including Lyme Disease, ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, MCAS, Dysautonomia, PMDD and Endometriosis. I deeply understand the impacts of medical trauma and healthcare inequity, as well as the complexities of living in a body that is unpredictable or holds trauma and pain. Tools I utilize for supporting clients and engaging in trauma processing work include Brainspotting, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Therapy and Somatic Mindfulness Practice (inner terrain work). What is Brainspotting (BSP)? BSP is a modality that uses your visual field to access and re-process trauma stored in the subcortical brain, with the goal of releasing emotional distress and restoring homeostasis around the stressor.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
This is a neurodiversity affirming, identity affirming, LGBTQ+ friendly space. This space is non-judgmental; I meet you here with compassionate curiosity and a deep belief in your resilience. Here, I respect the unique language of your nervous system, the wisdom that lives in your body, and support you in fostering a grounded connection to both. I welcome all intersections of identity here, as well as all relationship orientations (polyamory/CNM partnerships welcome). Please reach out; let's chat about your healing.
