It is through our intimate relationships that we learn what it means to be alive together.

About My Clients

Do you feel stuck in your relationship dynamic? Do you want to learn to love each other better? That can be extra challenging if your gender or sexuality doesn't fit the conventional mold. Do you keep getting into the same arguments and wish you could change the dynamic? We all want to feel that we matter to the ones we love.

My Background and Approach

I love what I do and it shows. With a warm, collaborative style, I use a combination of techniques, including narrative, psychodynamic, liberationist, and play therapy. I pay close attention to balancing rapport, so you and your partner each feel supported to show up and do your work. I listen to what my clients are thinking and feeling, helping them listen to themselves, speak their vulnerable truths, and hear each other. I welcome client feedback and incorporate it responsively into our work together.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in the inherent self worth of each person. I support individual sovereignty within the context of the relationships and commitments you value. I believe everyone does the best they can with the resources they have at the time, that labels are useful yet limiting approximations of people's real lived experience, that it's often worth queering binaries.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
