About My Clients
I know firsthand how important it is to have the proper support. I identify with the LGBTQIA+, kink/BDSM, and poly communities, so I am familiar with the unique issues facing these marginalized communities, and also the struggle to find a safe space to express your unique self when seeking help. Whether the issues you are seeking therapy for are directly related to your identity or not, you can freely be yourself in our sessions and let your guard down.
My Background and Approach
I provide a safe space, while clarifying your goals and desired outcome for therapy. I tailor my approach to your unique needs. I will listen empathically and non-judgmentally. I use a variety of therapeutic approaches to help address what is in the present and distressing, as well as exploring past patterns and how to break them going forward. My goal is to have many tools in my therapeutic toolbox. I aim to make therapy as accessible as possible, so if your annual income is below $75,000 annually, you qualify for a sliding scale fee. Up to $35,000 is $40; $35,100-45,000 is $50; $45,100-55,000 is $60; and 55,100-75,000 is $80. However you identify, I will meet you where you are at on your personal journey, and together we can work to figure out how you can live your most authentic life. Change does not happen overnight. It requires time, patience, and a willingness to be vulnerable. If you are ready to take the first step today, I would love to hear from you so we can get started!
