About My Clients
Are you afraid of being judged because you are in a Ds relationship or part of an evolving polycule? Are you tired of the couple's counselors using faith to sign off on misogyny? I am one of the few on the NCSF directory for the area and I have extensive experience with working with kink and poly clients.
My Background and Approach
I am a two time graduate of Georgia Southern: BS of Psychology in 2009, MEd in Counselor Education in 2012. I am currently a doctoral candidate from University of Louisiana Monroe in the Marriage and Family Therapy: Systemic Studies program with my dissertation topic focusing on polyamory. My sessions typically involve reviewing elements of self and what is important. Goal-setting, wholistic selfcare, and reviewing past successes and potential hurdles to overcome. I very much feel like laughter is good for the soul and too many people think counseling is scary and I hope to change that perception.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an active member of the LGBTQ and Poly communities. BLM is not open for debate. I am sex positive and have argued against the discrimination of sex workers, those who engage in consensual and ethical bdsm, and consensual and ethical non-monogamy.
