About My Clients
I work with a handful of different clients, ranging from all ages. I specialize in PTSD, addictions, and work with children. I have a passion for the outdoors and would love to bring our sessions into nature.
My Background and Approach
I have worked in the therapy field since 2018 when I graduated with my Mental Health Counseling degree at Clemson University. I take pride in being a safe space for all of my clients and I also understand that therapy can seem intimidating. My favorite part about being a therapist is forming a therapeutic relationship with all of my clients.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I utilize a few different therapeutic approaches including: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Strengths-Based Therapy. In our sessions, you can expect a compassionate listener who values authenticity and encourages personal growth. Together, we’ll delve into the underlying issues you face, develop effective coping strategies, and enhance your self-awareness. I specialize in a few areas of therapy including: working with children, veterans and military families, and addictions. In addition, I do a lot of work with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and gender.sexual identity. I also have a love of nature and the outdoors, and would be happy to make this a part of our session.
