When you are suffering with anxiety, depression or other mental health issues these are common thoughts people have. You're definitely not alone and it can also be an indicator that it's the right time for some therapeutic guidance.
My Background and Approach
I believe in building a positive client-therapist relationship. I take a holistic approach to create a treatment plan based on each client's goals and needs. I use evidence-based tools such as cognitive behavioral and other therapies to find where issues stem from and how they can be dealt with effectively.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Aside from cognitive behavioral, interpersonal, and psychodynamic therapies; if a client interested I also specialize in hypnotherapy. I can incorporate and combine hypnotherapy with cognitive behavioral and EMDR, which studies have found can be extremely powerful. In a free consultation I can breakdown any misconceptions/ myths about hypnosis (as it really is a guided meditation), as well as discuss what you'd like to treat and what approaches would be best suited for you! I will always ensure a safe, non-judgmental space for the client to explore their thoughts and feelings. To me that is the highest priority.
