About My Clients
I work with adolescents and adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, career stress and life transitions, self-esteem and body image, sexuality and gender identity, and relationship and interpersonal issues. I will support you in challenging the thoughts and beliefs that aren’t serving you anymore and creating more space for kindness and change within yourself. We will work together to build all the skills you need to become a secure, confident, and empowered person.
My Background and Approach
The therapeutic relationship is the most important part of my practice—the work we do together will be more meaningful and more effective if you feel respected and heard. I operate from a client-centered, culturally sensitive, and trauma-informed framework. I view each client as a unique individual and, as such, don’t view treatment as a “one-size-fits-all” approach. I draw on multiple modalities depending on the needs of my clients, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), interpersonal psychotherapy (IPT), and mindfulness. Most importantly, my experience has taught me that flexibility and grace are necessary aspects of the therapeutic process. Your input and what you discover about yourself along the way will guide our future work together.
