About My Clients
Do you feel like you don’t fit? Do you question your worth? Do you feel like you don’t even know who you are? Whether you are queer, neurodivergent, neuroqueer, or have experienced relational or religious trauma, you may experience these things some or all of the time. None of this is not your fault, and it doesn’t reflect your worth. I want to help you connect with yourself and the parts of you that you were told don’t belong.
My Background and Approach
I became a therapist because of my own experiences in therapy and believe in the positive impact it can have. As a queer and neurodivergent person, I also know that therapy often does not have these identities in mind. Because of this, I strive to create a therapeutic space that is supportive of all marginalized identities. I grew up in an evangelical Christian environment and went through a painful deconstruction process through college and early adulthood. I now hold spirituality with an open hand and connect to spirituality through nature, yoga, reading tarot, journaling, and engaging in community. I honor each person’s individual spiritual experiences and journeys, including no connection to spirituality at all. I am a relational, anti-oppressive therapist. My approach is primarily informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, which means that I welcome all the various parts of you and your experiences.
