About My Clients
I support individuals of all sexual orientations, gender identities, faiths, ethnicities, races, ages, sizes, and abilities. I am an ally to the sex worker community and an advocate for all bodies. I consider social justice an integral part of therapy and am dedicated to advocating for the rights of my clients. I work with adult individuals and adolescents.
My Background and Approach
I take an integrative approach to counseling with an emphasis on looking at the individual from a holistic point of view. Rather than concentrating on dysfunction, I strive to help people fulfill their potential and maximize their well-being. The therapeutic relationship I create with my clients is the most important part of this process, I collaborate with my clients throughout to find the most effective evidence-based treatments and create a personalized experience towards what wellness means for you. My areas of special training and expertise include gender and sexuality, identity formation, relationship issues, and stigma. I received my Master of Arts in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness and LGBT Health, Education, and Social Services from New York University and I hold a Master of Science in Psychological Science from Seattle Pacific University where I am currently working towards my PhD in Clinical Psychology.
