About My Clients
I believe that every person deserves the most fulfilling life where they are seen, heard, and can find deep satisfaction and happiness. As a therapist, I will hold a safe, nonjudgmental space for you. I use a variety of evidence-based approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness. I enjoy working with adolescents and adults who are open to the healing powers of humor—therapy is hard work but we can also have some fun.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master of Social Work in 2022 from the University of Cincinnati and my bachelor’s in education and social policy in 2016 from Northwestern University in Illinois. I worked as a special education teacher in Memphis, Tennessee for four years with children of all ages and their families. I have many years of experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma including complex and racial trauma. I am an avid reader, poet, and hiker, and enjoy incorporating creativity and nature into my work with others.
