With me, you don't have to deal with any more able-bodied BS. I have facilitated support groups for youth and adults with connective tissue diseases through the Marfan Foundation, which has given me the knowledge and the experience to help you feel seen and supported, and solve your mental health problems.

You can heal from internalized transphobia and the stress of marginalization, and I can help. Being transgender in today's America can be stressful and even traumatic. In addition to my own lived experience, I've recieved advanced training on the treatment of trauma, EMDR and trauma, and PTSD. Whether you want to accept yourself, figure out your next steps, or cope with dysphoria, we can work through your issues together.

I use techniques from CBT to help clients identify and challenge negative thoughts about themselves. Many marginalized people struggle with shame, internalized -isms, and other forms of damaging self-talk as a result of living in an unaccepting society. When used in an anti-oppressive framework, CBT can help challenge that indoctrination.

I have experience dealing with trauma as a result of my work both as a patient advocate and as a support group leader for people dealing with life-limiting illnesses. I also have extensive training in treating trauma using talk therapy, EMDR, mindfulness, and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. Together, we can discover ways to manage your PTSD symptoms.

I find the way EMDR can help clients to become more aware of their own inner resources absolutely magical. It's especially helpful for creative, imaginative people, which is why I've seen it work so well with my clients. I've recieved a great deal of training in EMDR and love learning more about it.
