About My Clients
We go through life with different extent of trauma (trauma ≠ PTSD). It does not have to be violent to leave trauma in our lives, trauma simply means painful things that happened in life and still affecting me somehow, whether consciously or unconsciously. When trauma is left unattended, it can interrupt our life quality. It may appear as powerlessness, depression, anxiety, insecurity, anger, interpersonal struggles and so on.
My Background and Approach
I focus lots of my work around trauma and PTSD, especially how they affect our life quality and relationships afterwards. I only see adults individuals in my practice currently. I enjoy working with LGBTQ+ community particularly.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I came to US at age 18 to pursue my interest in psychology. As a first generation immigrant, I understand the struggle with cultural differences, lack of belonging and trying to establish a life in a foreign country. In addition, being a gay man, I see myself as an ally and a member of LGBTQ community. I am hoping to help others to find the strength and self-compassion that we all need as human beings to flourish in our lives.
