About My Clients
Having worked in a creative industry prior to pursuing a career as a psychotherapist, I am especially interested in working with and supporting clients who are on their own creative path. Additionally, I assist clients experiencing issues including but not limited to: eating disorders, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues.
My Background and Approach
I earned my M.A. in clinical psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles with a specialization in Spiritual Depth Psychology; and my BFA from Rhode Island School of Design. I received in-depth clinical training at Women's Clinic & Family Counseling Center, and The Krevoy Institute For Eating Disorders, and have worked with people experiencing symptoms of distress due to: anxiety, depression, disordered eating, trauma, phase of life transitions, relationship problems, family issues, heartache, personality disorders, and career issues. In addition to my clinical experience, I volunteered at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where I supervised teenagers at the Center For The Study Of Young People/Teen Line, a teen crisis hotline. My goal as a therapist is to work with you in a collaborative manner to help you reach your goals. You will take an active role in therapy by looking inward. As your therapist I will assist you by promoting honesty, self-compassion, and self-acceptance.
