In my career before transition to clinical work (nonprofit and education) and as a current therapist, I center anti-racism in everything I do both personally and professional. I have extensive experience working with transitional-aged youth, foster youth and adopted youth, adults, and couples who were navigating racial identity challenges, challenges within family/partner structures, and challenges with systems (school, work, healthcare).

I have experience working with families, couples/polycules, parents, and leading or co-leading groups for parents, families, and couples. My graduate clinical education was rooted in systems (families and couples) theory and I engage in various continuing education opportunities to build more skills in continuing to treat relational issues from navigating friendships, sexuality, separation/divorce/breakup, parenting/co-parenting, parents supporting queer or trans children, and more.

Pershing Square Therapy is a group practice committed to providing quality, inclusive care that is trans-owned and operated. I continuously engage in World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and related trainings for serving transgender and nonbinary populations. I have experience writing and providing clinical letters for gender- affirming hormone therapy and other medical interventions. I have experience working with men, masculinity, and women's issues as well.

Integrative therapy is an individualized, holistic approach to therapy that combines ideas and techniques from different therapeutic modalities. We can implement various modalities to integrate into your healing in ways that best suit your needs. I have experience in interventions of the following approaches: CBT, DBT, Gottman, psychodynamic, parts work, art, biblio (book), narrative, video/table top gaming, cinematherapy, and more to navigate your healing journey.

Relational therapy is an approach rooted in the idea that an essential factor of improved emotional and mental health is having healthy, positive, and mutually satisfying relationships with others. As an anti-racist therapist committed to anti-oppression; isolation and inequitable relationships is a structural tool contributing to declining mental health. Through this lens, I explore with clients how relationships "show up" (family, friends, work, etc.) in their lives and develop new patterns.

Psychodynamic therapy is an approach that focuses on our unconscious (aka internalized) coping strategies (aka defenses) that we have learned from past relationships (early development, core relationships) to both protect ourselves from valid or perceived threats as well as navigate future relationships. This approach explores these defenses as they may have been helpful at one point in our lives as a tool of survival, and replace them with tools that are more useful in your new context.

I continuously engage in World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) and other related trainings for serving transgender, nonbinary, and queer populations. I have experience writing and providing clinical letters for gender- affirming hormone therapy and other medical interventions. I have significant experience supporting queer, poly/ENM, kinky, questioning/curious, and newly out teens, adults, and couples.

I have significant experience working with clients who experience depression and/or anxiety related to low esteem, identity, men's/masculinity issues, and women's/femininity issues. Low mood, anxiety and worry related to life transitions, relationships, career changes, moving/relocation, grief/loss, or existentialism is completely expected and "normal". When these experiences are layered with identity, politics, experiences with systemic and cultural challenges; even more so.
