About My Clients
As your therapeutic companion, I support you to get unstuck and find freedom in connecting with yourself and the world around you. I specialize in working with activists and organizers, artists, healers/therapists, and the LGBTQIA+ community.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic philosophy is both grounded and ever-changing. I use my background in community organizing and psychodynamic, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Somatic approaches to help you access your inherent worth and inner-knowing. Built on this foundation, working with me will help you develop a range of skills to deal with the complex world living both in and outside of yourself. I became a therapist to help people accept all parts of themselves and channel their inner knowing into conviction and purpose. We each inherently have everything we need to heal and thrive. I'm a guide to help you find your way.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I have spent most of my life as a student formally and informally and brings this intellectual curiosity into my practice as a therapist. I love making sense of how complex the world is and the myriad ways of how those complexities impact peoples' lives. I am a deeply values-driven person who has yearned for a more beautiful and just world since I can remember. I connects to my ancestral heritage of Judaism through practice, prayer, and ritual. I live and work in New York City on occupied Lenape land where my family has called home for five generations.
