My Background and Approach
Through my graduate education in Rehabilitation Counseling , I had the unique opportunity to learn specialized counseling skills related to supporting clients with disabilities. I identify as disabled and neurodivergent, and my own experiences with chronic pain led me to pursue a career dedicated to alleviating its impact on mental health. My counseling style is non-judgmental, creative, and genuine, guided by person-centered and existential theory. My goal is to create a safe container for you to show up as your authentic self and receive unconditional support on your journey towards self-acceptance. I use a collaborative approach, tailored to your individual needs. I draw from an eclectic mix of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and Narrative Therapy. I’m currently pursuing continuing education in the Hakomi method.

I am committed to social justice, anti-oppression, and cultural empathy and humility in my counseling practice. I affirm all intersections of race, ethnicity, ability, faith, neurodiversity, sexuality, and gender identity.
