About My Clients
You keep dating the wrong person and you don't know what people mean when they say "trust your gut." You want to feel just as whole and complete by yourself as when you're in a relationship. You feel anxious, doubting yourself, and feeling guilty most of the time. Learning how to set healthy boundaries, understanding yourself and people around you is possible. My clients "graduate" therapy feeling more self-assured and prepared to ask for what they need from life.
My Background and Approach
I'm a systems counselor, which means I'm good at understanding a person in context, and I can help you better understand how your environment (family, partner, people, job, culture, government) is affecting you and what you can do about it. I tend to approach things from a trauma and attachment focused lens. In other words, we look at how your past is affecting the way you attract and relate to other people. I also use Internal Family Systems, which is a great way to silence the negative internal chatter in your head and work through trauma. Other random things about me, I'm an Aries, an 8 on the enneagram (a healthy one : ) ), a Harry Potter and LOTR nerd, and I love dogs and cats and name them after literary figures.
