About My Clients
I tailor treatment according to each client’s needs. I focus on challenging unhelpful cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and developing personal coping strategies that target the root of current problems. Together we will use exercises to identify emotions, and increase distress tolerance to improve your quality of life.
My Background and Approach
I have a master's degree from Medaille College in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have a bachelor's degree and a background in art and photography, I have a lot of personal experience healing and working through many of the areas that I help my clients work through. My approach is personalized with each person I meet. Together, we navigate your current feelings and circumstances. You will discover how your thoughts and perspectives were formed and how this guides your behaviors and relationships with yourself and others. You will develop a new understanding of how you process your experiences, and new tools you can take on your journey that will improve your quality of life. I believe clients take away new perspectives and practices that alleviate stress and triggers. You will have a new approach to your thoughts and feelings and feel relief from the symptoms that bind you.
