As a generalist, my definition of the "ideal client" is broad, but I am particularly interested in working with clients that are navigating challenges with body image, work burnout and stress, depression, anxiety, and identity and values exploration.
My Background and Approach
Maybe you feel directionless, hopeless, or unfulfilled - maybe you spend a lot of time in your day worrying or holding yourself back from what you really want. You might feel like you’re buckling under the pressure of work, relationships, loss, or other stressful and difficult parts of life. If any of this resonates with you, please know that you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here, and I’d love to support you. My therapeutic approach is to meet you where you are and help you grow into a healed and happier version of yourself. My therapeutic style is laid back, warm, and eclectic; my top priority is to always provide a space where you feel safe, supported, and heard.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I wholeheartedly accept and affirm clients from all walks of life with no exceptions. As a new therapist, I operate from a place of constant learning and curiosity; while I am not an expert on anyone's experience but my own, I always strive to work competently with populations including those from LGBTQIA+, fat and body diverse, and BIPOC communities and build knowledge about the specific challenges that these community members might face. I firmly believe that therapy is inherently political because our lives are directly impacted by the systems that surround us. My personal belief is that you, as the client, have the right to know where your therapist stands on social and political issues if that is something of interest or importance to you.
