About My Clients

My clients have experienced deeply formative experiences surrounding issues of identity and/or health which have left them feeling alone, vulnerable, & scared to be themselves. I use therapeutic play, gaming (console & tabletop), art, music, and talk therapy to help you relearn to think compassionately (yet accountably!) about how you can grow and thrive, even when you've been taught you're not allowed to do so.

My Background and Approach

I'd love to help you relearn to explore your mental spaces in a playful, creative, and compassionate way. Together we'll discover where and how your learned patterns might not be serving you in a life lived BY you. In a person-centered, experiential way, you'll process & understand your emotions and behaviors using, not only talk therapy, but creative & fun ways of exploring problem-solving, emotional regulation, & navigating social, familial, and personal expectations. We'll use art, music, writing, popular media, therapeutic play, and gaming as we learn who you are and can be! Therapy can guide you toward exploring emotional, mental, and behavioral patterns while also showing you techniques that support healing and the management of symptoms, emotions, and reactions—all in a safe space. It's okay if you've never had therapy before or don’t know where to begin. Contact me and we can figure it out together!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I welcome people of all shapes and sizes, races, sexualities, genders, and spiritual beliefs, and am happy to work with clients on issues of ethical non-monogamy, sex-positivity, neurodivergent identities, non-religious/non-spiritual beliefs, size inclusivity, and other systemic issues that oppressed and marginalized communities face. As an intersectional and feminist therapist, I want to engage with all the parts of you, to know the systems in which you live and grow, and to explore who you have been and who you want to be. That means that you need to know me as much as I need to know you–therapy is as much about the rapport between counseled and counselor as it is about any interventional strategy! So: speaking as a nerdy, asexual, agender, autistic, ADHD elder Millennial-type person, I am so happy to meet you where you are, and hope you'll give me the opportunity to learn more about what you would like from a therapeutic relationship.
