About My Clients
I enjoy working with adults struggling with a sense of self and identity, issues around relationships and sex, the LGBTQIA+ community, and individuals feeling stuck or unmotivated. I also work with couples and partners in consensual non-monogamous relationships who find themselves repeating the same arguments, engaging in behaviors that don’t feel helpful, navigating life transitions, or simply couples who want to communicate and understand one another better.
My Background and Approach
I empower clients to live a meaningful and purposeful life, feel a sense of safety in their bodies, and understand their own behavioral and attachment patterns. I am trained in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), a values-driven, behavioral therapy that helps us feel more aligned with ourselves in the choices we make. I also draw from attachment theory, internal family systems (IFS), somatic, and interpersonal approaches. My practice is feminist, anti-oppressive, sex-positive, and queer-, poly- & kink-affirming.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I value connection, authenticity, and autonomy. I understand that living and operating within the systems of modern life is distressing. I am an active member of the LGBTQIA+ community, and I seek to educate myself through the experiences of others in the queer community. My journey to social work began in reproductive justice, as a case manager for a local abortion fund. I'm also a classical musician and lover of art, pop culture, and early music.
