About My Clients
Clients that do well with me typically are able to be consistent with support, are open to strategies used between our sessions, and are interested in meaningful reflection. I have experience working with those experiencing chronic pain, illness, cancer, terminal illnesses, grief/bereavement, members of the military/ veterans, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrant communities. I work exclusively with adults of any age and at any life stage.
My Background and Approach
I have been a social worker for over 10 years and specialize in Cognitive behavioral therapy, Mindfulness based stress reduction, grief/bereavement therapy, treating anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, depression including post-partum depression. I like my clients to provide direction on their goals for therapy and give feedback to interventions we discuss. I want you to have the support in the session while also learning tools you can use between sessions to build your coping skills.
