About My Clients
Navigating the death of a loved one, whether a cherished pet or a family member, facing relationship challenges, or simply needing a listening ear, can feel overwhelming. My holistic approach honors the grieving process, caregiver fatigue, and the human-animal bond. I strive to provide support in a way that feels safe and welcoming to everyone.
My Background and Approach
I’m pursuing my MSW at the University of Washington’s School of Social Work, aiming to graduate in 2025. My educational path includes a B.S. in Human Development and Family Sciences from Oregon State University, where I had the privilege of interning at Healing Reins Therapeutic Riding Center in beautiful Central Oregon. Before starting my clinical internship with Paws to Connect Counseling, I dedicated eleven years to social services, engaging in family support, advocacy, case management, substance use disorders, child welfare, and administration. I value an integrative approach that respects each client's unique narrative, experiences, and specific needs. I recognize the many hills, valleys, and complexities involved in the healing journey. While this process can be complex and painful, it can also be transformative, life-altering, and beautiful. I am here to support you as you embark on your unique journey and witness your process of discovering hope, healing, and recovery.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
During my free time, I cherish moments with my partner of six years and our Goldendoodle, Brutus. We love going on family trips and hikes, savoring our adventures in the forest or by the beach. I have a passion for painting and working on projects that allow me to express my creativity. I cherish spending time with my family in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. My partner and I also share a love for travel, and we are actively working towards visiting all 50 states. I celebrate my unique neurodiversity and queerness as I journey towards wellness for my wonderfully unique body.
