You don't have to do this alone. If you experienced panic, anxiety, or the aftermath of trauma, you might question whether you can heal and recover from it. If you have a painful relationship with food and your body, you might feel like it's just a fact of life you have to deal with. In either scenario, you may feel like your world is out of control, which can be scary, and whether anyone can help you. I help adults (like you) heal your pain with food and body image, trauma, and anxiety.
My Background and Approach
I have over 25 years of experience helping people unravel their suffering at the intersection of physical and mental health. I use an integrated, trauma-informed approach that allows me to consider the source of your pain and help you heal it from the core. I am EMDR and Intuitive Eating Certified.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I may not know your experience, but I know what it's like to struggle, to need help, and to heal. Therapy is fulfilling work, and it can be fun too. I want to understand your suffering, and when you tell me your story, I'll believe you. All bodies are welcome, and all bodies will get dignity and respect. I'm Health At Every Size (HAES) aligned and a multiculturally competent, white woman.
