My Background and Approach
The tools and methods that I will provide you with are tools that I have been studying and using in my practice. They are also tools that I have used myself in my own personal growth journey. It is critical to feel safe in whatever environment that you chose to disclose and work with vulnerable emotional issues. I provide that setting for you. I believe that you have the answers inside of you, and I provide expert guidance to help you find those answers. You are the leader of your life and of your path.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I think that we develop mental health issues when fundamental needs are not met at some point in our lives. We pick up unhealthy learned behaviors usually as a protective mechanism. I have seen individuals unlearn the faulty behaviors and replace them with healthy ones. I do not discriminate against anyone for any reason. I am very open to any members of any community; I fully support and am a member of the LGBTQ community.
