About My Clients
Whether you're exploring your queer identity, burned out from masking, or feeling weighed down by trauma, I’m here to help you reclaim your voice and sense of self. I specialize in supporting neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ adults, particularly those navigating Autism or ADHD. I also work with complex trauma and with folx who have experienced religious trauma or natural disaster trauma. As a creative, I enjoy working with other artists and creatives.
My Background and Approach
As a queer therapist who is both Autistic and ADHD, I understand firsthand the challenges of navigating a world not built for us. My approach is trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, and rooted in liberation work. I specialize in helping clients unmask, challenge internalized ableism, embrace their queer identities, and heal from complex trauma. Together, we’ll explore your unique strengths, support your nervous system, and cultivate tools for emotional regulation, sensory exploration, and burnout recovery. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where you can learn more about yourself and thrive. As no two individuals have the same needs, I utilize an eclectic approach that incorporates my training within the following practices and modalities: Internal Family Systems (IFS), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Culturally and Trauma-Informed Therapy, Mindfulness Practices, Somatic Practices, and Expressive Arts.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a neuroqueer therapist, I view Autism and ADHD not as “disorders” to be fixed, but as natural human variations that deserve respect, support, and accommodation, aligning with the social model of disability. When naming neurodivergence, I believe self-diagnosis is valid and support clients with or without formal diagnoses in strengthening their understanding of neurodivergence. I’m passionate about creating inclusive, affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent individuals. I am deeply committed to social justice and liberation work, focusing on dismantling systems of oppression that harm marginalized communities. Outside of therapy, I engage in mutual aid efforts and grassroots initiatives that support Palestinian liberation. I proudly identify as a disabled, genderqueer lesbian.
