About My Clients

My clients are often survivors of trauma, women, and queer folks that are curious about how their experiences have impacted them and come to me to help regulate their nervous systems and begin to accept and heal all parts of themselves. I enjoy working with relationship issues, gender, sexuality, identity formation, and helping folks restore wholeness after surviving traumatic and upsetting experiences, particularly narcissistic abuse or emotionally immature caregivers.

My Background and Approach

I take an integrative approach to therapy that seeks to address and heal all parts of you. In our work together, we will consider how your nervous system has been impacted by your life experiences and help you move into a space of deeper regulation. My work also makes space for exploring the impact of climate change, current events, and systemic inequalities/oppression. I am trained in EMDR and a somatic modality called TRM which can help move stuckness in the body and deepen a sense of embodiment. I also draw from parts work, mindfulness, and self compassion, and my own personal background in the arts, yoga, and meditation. I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is one of the most important aspects of the therapeutic process, and work well with clients that enjoy building a relationship with a provider that can support them throughout the ebbs and flows of life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that we all possess the tools we need to thrive in life. Trauma, stress, and negative experiences can disconnect us from the deepest version of our selves and my hope is that our work together will help you re-connect to your innate strengths and younger selves in order to heal from the inside out. I am queer, feminist, anti-racist, passionate about providing a safe, human, and comfortable space for all members of the LGBTQIA+ community, disabled folks, sex workers, survivors, highly sensitive folks, and members of other marginalized communities. Accessibility is important to me, so if you have any questions at all please feel free to reach out!
