About My Clients
I am passionate about helping people to be kinder to themselves. People of many different backgrounds and struggles share in common that they are much harder on themselves than they are on others. It is amazing the way lives change when people make a shift to greater self compassion. I work with individuals and couples, and also provide clinical supervision online. I have a special interest in working with those who identify as HSP (highly sensitive people).
My Background and Approach
I work from a psychodynamic perspective and also use cognitive-behavioral strategies, helping my clients understand the origins of their difficulties while giving them strategies to cope and make shifts in the here and now. I also weave mindfulness strategies into therapy sessions, and focus on helping them to develop the skill of self compassion.
