About My Clients
My work is focused on being neuroaffirmative, LGBTQIA+ affirmative, and culturally competent for all. Life can be unpredictable, sometimes things don't go as planned, and sometimes it feels like our brain is fighting against us, but I'm so glad you're here. It's okay to feel like you need to be heard, have someone to talk things through with, someone to celebrate the little wins in life, and someone who will hold you accountable to the goals you want to succeed in. I'm here to help.
My Background and Approach
I use my lived experience as a queer, neurodivergent person to create my intersectional, person-centered approach to therapy. I have experience counseling individuals of all ages diagnosed with substance use disorders and mental health conditions for over three years. As an Associate Clinical Licensed Social Worker (LCSWA), I specialize in LGBTQIA+ affirmative care with adolescents and adults diagnosed with anxiety, depression, substance abuse, ADHD, and autism. I am looking forward to meeting with clients who have difficulty understanding and expressing their emotions, those who tend to prioritize others' needs over their own ("people-pleasing"), and those on a journey to discover their authentic selves.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a queer, neurodivergent person myself I ensure my work is focused on being neuroaffirmative, LGBTQIA+ affirmative, and culturally competent for all.
