My Background and Approach
Hey, my name is Kelsey! I am a biracial Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a warm, humorous, and affirming style. The majority of my practice focuses on supporting people living with chronic illness, trauma, and anxiety who choose to not worry alone. My approach is driven by various treatment modalities with an integrated approach to best fit your needs. I completed advanced post-graduate training in cognitive behavioral interventions and trauma treatment. I teach young adults, providers, caregivers and foster youth how to regulate stress and reframe experiences. Additionally, I help people with brain or violence-related injuries and neurodegenerative diseases, build a more compassionate relationship with difficult emotions and ignite empowerment. Special interest in multiracial identity development.
