Hello there! I'm a millennial therapist in therapy. Take a look around and message me with your thoughts!

About My Clients

My clients are SO COOL. If they're not? Well, they just don't realize how cool they actually are...yet. My clients want to improve their love and respect for their bodies, their world, themselves. They will want to change the world, but honestly, they probably already are. My clients are probably Swifties, definitely sarcastic, but kind, and want a therapist who is all of the above.

My Background and Approach

While I have always considered myself a mental health generalist, I specialize in a few key areas: disordered eating and eating disorders, trauma healing using EMDR, and the peri/post partum parent experience. I have been in practice for over 10 years in a variety of settings, but I am most excited to bring my skills to my private practice. As a therapist, I believe the single most predictive factor of therapy success is the therapeutic relationship. I love using humor, pop culture references, as well as a well-placed F-bomb from time to time. Bring your Emotional Support Water Bottle, and let's dig into where you're at and where you want to be. Shoot me a message, and let's get started, shall we?

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My personal beliefs and values create the lens in which I view the world around me. I value authenticity, vulnerability, and inclusivity. I've volunteered for health equity initiatives throughout my career and make it a priority and focus in my daily life, both personally and professionally. I'm, to a fault, sarcastic and (try to be) funny. I'm a nerd, and have no shame in identifying a good streaming binge as my most effective coping skill (I did not say healthiest, mind you). I am as much a work in progress as my clients are, and I bring my authentic self to my sessions. I believe you should Always Carry A Book, but I'll also carry my Kindle like a security blanket. Speaking of blankets, I'm known to hyperfixate on crochet from time to time or really any other craft that keeps my ADHD mind and hands busy. I enjoy fresh air as much as the next PNW resident, but find my calm underneath a big cozy blanket.
