About My Clients
I am really passionate about working with folks towards becoming more authentic in life. Most of my clients are members of the LGBTQ+ community, and I happily provide gender affirming care, HRT, and top surgery letters. Additionally, I support clients through life transitions. For example, I work with clients as they change careers, start businesses, move into a different role, leave home, or return home to care for elder parents. I provide inclusive premarital counseling also!
My Background and Approach
My background starts in the music and education fields, where I spent about a decade before finding my passion in mental health. This influences my counseling style, and I love supporting clients using the creative and expressive arts. This can look like creating art, using movement, or even writing short stories to help us process an event or particularly difficult emotion. For some of my clients, we use creation and destruction as a way of processing their anger and disappointment, emotions that are often covered instead of walked through. Does the idea of using the arts scare you? Don't worry, I also work with clients using talk therapy, and pull from Internal Family Systems, CBT, and existential toolboxes to help you work towards your goals!
