My Background and Approach
I earned my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ball State University in 2015. During my time as a counselor, I have worked in home-based, inpatient, intensive outpatient, and office settings, which has given me the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, including but not limited to, adolescents, adults, members of the LGBTQIA+ Community, and members of the BIPOC community. My approach integrates a variety of techniques—including Interpersonal Therapy, CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness—to tailor a therapeutic experience that’s uniquely suited to you. I believe that therapy should reflect your individuality, so my focus is on discovering and applying the strategies that resonate most with you. Together, we’ll create a personalized plan that aligns with your goals and supports your mental health journey.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the potential to learn, grow, and access exceptional mental health support. As a feminist and a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and an ally of the BIPOC community, I am dedicated to promoting inclusivity and equity in all aspects of mental health care. I view social justice as a shared responsibility and am passionate about contributing to a more equitable and supportive world. My goal is to create a safe, affirming environment where each person can thrive and receive the high-quality support they deserve. Together, we can work towards a future where everyone has the opportunity to flourish and embrace their true selves.
