About My Clients
Therapy is a collaborative process where together we identify areas for personal growth and develop skills that can support you in finding balance and reaching your goals. Whether you are experiencing anxiety or nervousness, feeling sad or depressed, navigating relationship concerns, managing anger or other intense emotions, needing support with life transitions such as college or graduate school or parenthood, or working through traumatic events, I would love to partner with you!
My Background and Approach
My style is warm and eclectic. I draw from a variety of evidenced-based models, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to address your concerns and distressing symptoms. I am also a registered yoga teacher (RYT-200), and I enjoy integrating aspects of yoga, including mindfulness and a mind/body approach into therapy where appropriate.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and welcoming of clients of all cultural, racial, and religious backgrounds. I enjoy holding space for folks with religious trauma or who have had adverse religious experiences. I am weight inclusive. I feel it is important to me to be continuously learning and evaluating my privilege, practicing from an antiracist and anti-oppressive lens.
